Board of Supervisors Opportunity- Grays Harbor Conservation District
The Grays Harbor Conservation District (GHCD) has an opportunity available to serve on the District’s Board of Supervisors. The position will serve the remainder of an unexpired term which was appointed by the state Conservation Commission. To be eligible, you must be a registered voter in the state of Washington. As a GHCD Supervisor, you will set policy and provide direction for GHCD staff, to ensure local values are met. Supervisors are public officials who serve without compensation. We are seeking a skilled and passionate individual who will work with private landowners towards the conservation and wise stewardship of Grays Harbor County’s natural resources by coordinating the implementation of the Grays Harbor County Voluntary Stewardship Program (https://scc.wa.gov/vsp/).
Employment will be regular full-time, scheduled to work 40 hours per week. Work may require some evening work. The position is eligible for the District’s benefit package, subject to the terms, conditions, limitation, and eligibility requirements of each benefit program. Benefits include health insurance, retirement, vacation, and sick leave.
Salary depends on qualifications.
